Salary - $165,000 - $210,000 + 401K + Health + Bonus

As the General Superintendent, you are the #1 leader in the field. You will manage and mentor our team of Superintendents, acting as the driving force behind the project's planning, execution, and site culture. You will be the chief strategist for all field operations, reporting directly to the Project Executive.
Your mission: to deliver a safe, high-quality, and on-schedule project by leading from the front.
What You'll Own- Executive Field Leadership: Develop and execute the master construction plan, including phasing, logistics, and site utilization. You set the vision.
- Team Development: Lead, coach, and mentor your entire team of Superintendents and field staff. You are responsible for building a high-performance team and developing our next generation of leaders.
- World-Class Safety Culture: Champion a zero-incident safety program. You will ensure all operations, including subcontractor work, strictly adhere to all safety and OSHA requirements.
- Master Scheduling: Take command of the project schedule. You will provide expert guidance to your team on look-aheads and planning, ensuring all milestones are met and work is properly sequenced.
- Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary field liaison for the owner, architect, and consultants. You will build trust, communicate progress, and resolve high-level issues with professionalism.
- Subcontractor Management: Drive accountability for subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to the schedule, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Quality & Execution: Be the final word on quality control. You'll ensure all work, materials, and inspections are documented and meet our rigorous standards.
- Operational Control: Manage all field documentation, including daily reports, logs, as-builts, and RFI/submittal field verification. You will work with the Project Manager to ensure all field-related costs and changes are managed effectively.
- Experience: 10+ years of proven experience as a Superintendent on large, complex construction projects.
- Leadership: 5+ years of experience Leadership
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Technical
Skills:
Mastery of complex scheduling (Primavera P-6, MS Project) and proficiency in construction technology (Bluebeam, MS Office). - Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be a clear, direct, and effective leader.
- Attitude: A strong sense of urgency and initiative. You are a natural problem-solver who can react decisively to complex issues and resolve conflict fairly and firmly.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes. Familiarity with LEED principles is a significant plus.
