Investment Banking Director / Managing Director – M&A (Middle Market)

Location: Orlando, FL or Atlanta, GA (hybrid/flexible)

Experience: 6–10+ years

A well-established middle-market investment banking firm is seeking to add a Director or Managing Director to its M&A advisory team. This is a senior hire within a collaborative, execution-focused platform that advises founder-owned, private equity–backed, and family-owned businesses.

The firm operates as a generalist platform
, but senior bankers are expected to bring deep expertise in at least one core industry vertical
. This role is ideal for a current Director/MD or a high-performing VP ready to step into a senior leadership position.

• Lead and execute sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions from origination through close
• Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted senior advisor
• Drive deal structuring, negotiation, and transaction strategy
• Mentor and develop junior bankers
• Collaborate with senior leadership across industry verticals
• Support business development efforts within your sector focus

Note: Candidates must have direct M&A transaction experience within one of these sectors.

• 6–10+ years of experience in middle-market or lower middle-market investment banking
• Proven M&A execution background (sell-side and/or buy-side)

• Strong client-facing and leadership capabilities
