Operations Manager
AMSOIL is seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Team Lead to support the daily operations of our distribution center located in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will assist the Distribution Center Manager with team efficiency, workflow accuracy, training associates, and maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and productivity. This position reports onsite and has a typical work schedule of 8:00am to 4:30pm.
CoreResponsibilities
- Promote and enforce safe work practices at all time including conducting required safety observations and raising awareness among associates.
- Train associates on procedures, equipment usage, and ensure they have necessary supplies.
- Assist Distribution Manager in leading daily startup meetings by communicating priorities, sharing updates, and reinforcing safety protocols.
- Monitor team output to ensure productivity benchmarks are met, including order timeliness and accuracy.
- Support high standards of customer service.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and execute cycle counts.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse work environment.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiar with inventory systems and KPI tracking.
- Able to operate a forklift (training received on the job).
- Able to repetitively lift up to 70 lbs.
