Summary / Objective
A Security Supervisor of Maximus Global Services is responsible for overseeing and ensuring day-to-day operations. The Security Supervisor’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure their team are prepared for their operations with manning, equipment and personnel. Key components of this position are constant communication, continuous proactivity and employee management.

- Plans and prepares the operation at least one day prior. Adjustments should be made with sufficient time. Including flight status, personnel needed for all services.
- Delivers plans and assignments to the team prior to start of operations.
- Prepares and/or ensures the operation daily report is complete by the end of the day.
- Ensures all employees follow security procedures for each entity, such as TSA, CBP and any other airport where Maximus Global Services operates.
- Updates Leads/Coordinators and personnel on any irregularities/changes to operations.
- Conducts weekly visits to airline management to ensure service is delivered up to standards.
- Addresses any issues with personnel, operations, and clients.
- Provides weekly control and inventory reports of equipment including wheelchairs.
- Ensures personnel training is current.
- Communicates to management any irregularities and/or operational requests.
- Delivers end-of-shift report to management with a full recap of the operation.

This position supervises the team of security agents at ramp, bag room, door, catering and all areas our company provides security.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional airport environment. The use of a company vehicle is required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical DemandsThis position is very active and requires standing, walking, seating. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 70 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work vary. Shifts could change at any time.
TravelNo travel is expected for this position.
Required Education And Experience- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years’ experience in customer service at airport or similar entities.
- Pass a background check and drug test.
- Computer literacy in MS Office packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Maintain a relationship with both employees and clients.
- Security Supervisors must have a good working knowledge of management practices and principles so they can efficiently perform their job.
- The job requires someone with critical thinking skills who can quickly observe a situation and make the appropriate response.
Must be eligible for CBP seal and pass the criminal background check to obtain the airport .
