Job Description

Essential Functions- Develop and implement project execution strategies.
- Manage project performance and provide leadership and support.
- Develop project teams and cultivate talent.
- Full project P&L responsibility.
- Foster and maintain favorable relationships with project stakeholders.
- Market and promote the Superior Construction brand.
- Support divisional pursuits and growth strategies.
- Foster and maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with the leadership and development of team members.
- All other duties as assigned.

This position will have direct reports and supervisory responsibilities.
- Assistant Project Managers.
- Superintendents.
- Field Engineers.
Additionally, a pressurized environment is the norm. The employee will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level at the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Physical DemandsMust be able to navigate rugged terrain, climb substantial heights, and work over and on water. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimbed coordination. The employee must have excellent stamina.
Position Type / Hours of WorkThis is a full‑time exempt position. It sometimes requires long hours, holidays, and weekend work.
TravelThe role may require regional travel within the assigned division.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- BS Construction, Engineering, or other relevant fields of study.
- Minimum five years of industry tenure.
- Significant field‑based project execution experience.
- Progressive field‑based leadership roles.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Safety‑Trained Supervisor Construction Certification.
Education and Experience
- Viewpoint experience a plus.
- Knowledge of estimating process.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
