Position SummaryThe Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective management of inventory, logistics, and staff. This role drives operational excellence through process improvement, team leadership, and the consistent execution of best practices.
Key Responsibilities Operations Management- Oversee receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping activities
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments
- Monitor KPIs and implement improvements
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning
- Conduct performance evaluations
- Maintain inventory accuracy through audits and cycle counts
- Manage warehouse systems (WMS)
- Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance
- Conduct safety training and inspections
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Implement process improvements
- Coordinate with suppliers, transportation providers, and internal teams
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of warehouse operations experience
- 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- WMS and inventory management knowledge
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- ERP/WMS systems experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Warehouse setting with varying temperatures
- May require extended hours or weekends
