Position: Parts Project Manager I

Role Overview

The Parts Project Manager I is responsible for managing and coordinating projects through planning, engineering, procurement, commissioning, validation, and contract close-out. This role serves as the primary customer contact for assigned projects and ensures successful execution aligned with safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate project status, health, and progress with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Identify risks, issues, and opportunities and support mitigation strategies.
  • Capture lessons learned and provide project summary briefings.
  • Lead execution of project phases using established project management methodologies.
  • Develop integrated project schedules including critical path and resource planning.
  • Ensure project teams execute deliverables according to plan and support recovery planning.
  • Monitor project execution including schedules, deliverables, and financial performance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage internal and external dependencies.
  • Facilitate project meetings and track action items through completion.
  • Provide performance feedback and support team development.
  • Support training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure successful project turnover.
  • Ensure systems of record are accurate and properly maintained.
  • Support compliance with export control requirements.
  • Travel up to 15% as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience managing complex projects.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with project management and Microsoft Office tools.
