Overview – The Project Manager will lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the multi‑million dollar range as part of Black & Veatch’s Orlando team. The role involves business development, project execution, staff management and overall project performance.

• Business development: lead marketing efforts, strategy development, prospect identification, proposal creation, client presentations, budgeting and contracting.
• Project management: client interaction, market and client engagement strategies, leveraging technical resources to expand market footprint.
• Project execution: oversee engineering managers, set performance goals, manage budgeting, invoicing, payments and conduct project performance reviews.
• Staff management: develop and mentor team members, identify training needs, recommend promotions, and recruit new talent.
• Management responsibilities: act as project manager and lead the project team for each assignment.

• 15+ years of active water/wastewater experience with demonstrated leadership in the Florida market.
• Professional Engineering License and a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of budgets and financial metrics.
• Contract negotiation skills including knowledge of terms, risks, pricing and payment terms.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements, including background check, drug screen and motor vehicle records search.
