Director, Association Services

Salary Range: $90,000.00 To $ Annually

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Association Management to lead and oversee a team of Community Association Managers (CAMs). This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with a deep understanding of association management, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to homeowners and boards.

Essential Functions

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of CAMs, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the management of multiple communities, ensuring quality service, financial oversight, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide strategic direction and problem-solving for complex community association matters.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, governing documents, and company policies.
  • Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, contract negotiations, and the administration of enforcement processes.
  • Foster strong client and resident relationships, driving retention, satisfaction, and community engagement.
  • Conduct training and development programs for CAMs to enhance performance and knowledge.
  • Provide professional support to LCAMs with community operations and board interactions.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries, ensuring effective resolution of concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed community records, including work orders and archiving.
  • Coordinate, create, and update operational and meeting calendars for management teams, boards, and committees.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, packages, and minutes; circulate electronic meeting invitations.
  • Assist board members and vendor partners as directed by LCAM.
  • Participate in membership, board, and committee meetings.
  • Prioritize tasks based on urgency and management direction.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED.

Experience

Required

  • Active Florida CAM License (Community Association Manager) for at least 5 years
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CAM , with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida statutes governing HOAs and condominium associations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple properties and lead a team effectively.

Skills

  • Ability to coordinate/manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and clients at all levels.
  • Demonstrate leadership in maintaining high standards of professional behavior for self and staff.
  • Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, problem solving, creative, and independent thinking.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the organization’s philosophy of high quality, professionalism, and organizational culture.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in association management software and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge and application of Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Windows based products.
  • Knowledge and application of tablet/iPad.

Physical Demands

Physical demands are essentially those of sedentary work. While working in the community you will be 1.) driving (sitting) in your car for long periods of time, and 2.) walking medium distances throughout the community and exposed to the elements.
