Electrical Project Manager
Evergreen Innovation Group, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking an Electrical Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of commercial electrical construction experience to support our team in the Orlando area. This critical leadership role is responsible for providing direction to the project team to complete the project on time while maintaining a high level of quality, safety, and customer loyalty.
Responsibilities- Manage all project team members, including Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Field Office Coordinators.
- Mentor, develop, and train team members for fast‑paced growth.
- Ensure 100% detailed and hands‑on knowledge of project scope.
- Control costs, manage billings, and oversee collections for assigned projects.
- Act as the key point of contact with owners and architects.
- Challenge and support jobsite and self‑perform work teams.
- Maintain accountability for project completion, financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to create and support team morale.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (e.g., Prolog), accounting cost management software (e.g., CMIC), and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera).
- A strong work ethic and a “can‑do” attitude.
- Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems.
- Complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience running multiple complex, highly technical projects, preferably within core markets such as Healthcare, Advanced Technology, Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Commercial.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project management within electrical commercial construction.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Travel to and from the office as well as assigned job site(s). The role may also involve occasional site visits and physical work as required by project demands.
