The Material Handler is responsibility for performing a variety of tasks related to shipping, receiving, inventory management, and production fulfillment. The ideal has intermediate math and computer skills and is willing to think creatively to improve stockroom processes and maintain accurate and organize inventory.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Receive incoming purchase orders of electronic components and raw materials using MS Dynamics AX (MRP)
- Examine shipments against packing slips and communicate any discrepancies with the Purchasing team
- Maintain inventory cycle counts for completed and finished goods.
- Pull, count, and release production orders to manufacturing as directed by planning.
- Prepare shipping and receiving documents, load and unload shipments from carriers or LTL trucks.
- Ship international shipments weekly to offshore facilities.
- Utilize MS office application (Excel, Outlook, Word) for record keeping, reporting, and communication.
- Coordinate with operations team regarding status of material, kits, and logistics.
- Ensure timely completion of daily receiving and inventory task.
- Assist with answering departmental phone calls as needed, providing timely and professional customer service support.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to 5S and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) policies.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Good writing and verbal communication skills.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work collaborate with peers and supervisors.
- Knowledge of electronics specification and BOM experience is helpful.
- Must be able to work with ITAR data without a license.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with inventory management, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50+lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Work is primarily performed in a warehouse/stockroom environment
- Work schedule may vary depending on shipping/receiving demands; may occasionally be required to work later than usual to complete tasks.
