Pay Rate: $29/hour (DOE)
- Continuous improvement: evaluate/monitor/escalate a roadblock identified while working in a role that can cause a defect downstream; support root cause analysis and provide details with problem solving skills.
- Proper use of equipment: operate heavy equipment with understanding of operational mechanics, safety procedures, and maintenance practices; move heavy parts/material throughout the facilities within the sites.
- Receive shipments: unload shipments delivered by carriers.
- Inspect shipments: visually examine packages arriving at the Fulfillment Center and determine acceptability according to standard operating procedures.
- Quality control checks: review requirements for each part number and process accordingly to the standard operating procedure.
- Document receipts: use tools and equipment to upload, store, and follow standard operating procedures to close out a receipt or work order.
- Data entry: navigate and input data in an inventory management tool from the physical delivery of a part; read information in modules as needed for tasks in Fulfillment.
- Packaging: determine packaging needs and properly wrap/store parts at any stage of the Fulfillment/Manufacturing workflow.
- Sorting and staging: move packages/boxes/crates/containers securely to prevent loss within the workflow.
- Labeling and marking: ensure all parts are labeled and identified per standard operating procedures to analyze parts through the workflow.
- Storage assignment/auditing: store and audit parts per standard operating procedures, whether individual or in bulk.
- 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including an industry with receiving and inventory functions.
- Must be able to operate forklifts.
- Safety is a top priority; adhere to established safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing PPE, following safe operating procedures, and participating in safety training.
- Employee must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- An attitude of world-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication.
- Communication skills within a highly technical environment.
- Mathematical skills including calculation of percentages, area, volume, and unit of measure conversions.
- Analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw reasonable conclusions.
- Ability to derive inventory requirements from drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.
- Electronic pallet jack experience
