Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility is seeking an experienced Material Handling Operator to add to the Siemens team. This position reports to the Brightline Material Manager. This role will handle all transfers and issuing of material, kits, and supplies. The individual will perform assigned warehouse and office tasks as determined by daily requirements for the day-to-day material operation. We are seeking a highly organized individual with great attention to detail, and excellent communication and follow-up skills.
This person will coordinate with the engineering and planning group on material-related issues, focus on EHS, and supervise logistics and warehouse activities at the depot. This is a 1st shift position, 5 8s to include 1 weekend day coverage.

What your day-to-day will look like:
- Adhere to all safety and environmental requirements for the storage and shipping of material, including regulated Haz Mat
- Use computer applications to maintain accurate material flow transactions
- Verify and maintain stock documents
- Perform cycle counting of all material in the stockroom
- Unload, receive, verify, and count material delivered to warehouse
- Pack and ship material back to vendors for repair or replacement
- Use small hand tools and may operate material handling equipment including forklifts and hand jacks
To thrive in this role, you have:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ years of material handling experience
- Experience in MRP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Experience driving powered forklifts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining an individual workload
- Ability to perform job duties with a sense of urgency and focus on safety
- Prior Siemens Mobility experience and experience with SAP and Maximo, or the ability to read parts manuals and/or technical drawings, would be a plus
Physical Demands:
- Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Frequently climb stairs, steps, and ladders
- Frequently work on elevated platforms
- Occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to focus
- Pushing and pulling objects
- Keyboarding on a computer or other machine
- Gross and fine manipulation with hands and fingers
- Driving forklifts, golf carts, yard buggies, etc.
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds

Pay range: $42,636.00 - $49,980.00 annually. The actual wage offered may vary based on budget, candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and location.
