Our Advanced Manufacturing team relies on skilled technicians who can troubleshoot, repair, and optimize high performance CNC and electro mechanical control systems.

What You Will Be Doing
In this role you will diagnose and fix a variety of CNC and multi purpose electronic/electro mechanical control systems (e.g., Mazak 5 axis and 6 axis machines). You will also support installation, preventive maintenance, and upgrades that incorporate the latest design enhancements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reading schematics, wiring diagrams, performance specifications, and machine manuals to understand system design and operating requirements.

• Designing and conducting functional and operational tests to isolate faults.

• Making critical adjustments to component values and settings to align and tune sensitive circuits and mechanisms.

• Analyzing test results to pinpoint root cause failures and recommending corrective actions.

• Replacing faulty parts or wiring, retesting, and documenting all work performed.

• Installing new electronic/electro mechanical equipment and performing periodic preventive maintenance.

• Modifying existing control systems to add new functions or integrate updated designs, while arranging components to minimize electronic interference and facilitate easy service.

• Working any required shift (first, second, or third) in accordance with the UAW collective bargaining agreement.

• Communicating issues and status updates clearly, both verbally and in written reports, to supervisors and engineering teams.
