Maintenance Engineer Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will begin your day by attending a shift meeting to discuss the daily plan. You will be responsible for completing a list of preventive maintenance tasks and will quickly respond to calls from the production team. Typically, you will complete 3-4 preventive maintenance tasks each day.

• Attend daily shift meetings to align on the day's objectives.
• Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Respond promptly to calls from the production team for assistance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including PLCs and VFDs.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Utilize a multimeter effectively and wire 480v motors.
• Conduct maintenance on conveyors and understand their operations.

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and understanding VFDs.
• Experience with conveyors and industrial machinery.
• Ability to use a multimeter and wire 480v motors.

• Food manufacturing experience is a plus.

The work environment is people-focused, promoting collaboration between maintenance, production, and sanitation teams. The facility is spot climate controlled, with average temperatures around 85 degrees and can reach up to 110 degrees. The dress code requires steel toe boots.

• 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm
• 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am.

Employees must be open to working weekends, with two days off during the week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Orlando, FL.
