You will be a Supply / Buy Planner, or Demand / Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner for our Production, Planning, and Control organization. Our team is responsible for coordinating interdepartmental activity and scheduling the movement of parts to ensure timely and efficient production. We're looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented individual to join our team in Orlando, FL.
What You Will Be DoingAs a Supply / Buy Planner, or Demand / Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating interdepartmental activity with various teams, including quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and contracts administration. You will schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders. You will also be required to communicate with all production sites and may need to work outside of normal operating hours.
YourResponsibilities Will Include
- Coordinating interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and contracts administration.
- Scheduling and expediting the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.
- Traveling and/or communicating with all production sites.
- Working outside of normal operating hours as needed.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and efficient production.
- Analyzing and resolving production scheduling issues.
- Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
