Description
You will be the Production Program Manager for the Production Program Management Team. Our team is responsible for overseeing production resources, removing barriers, and maturing test equipment and processes for final assembly and test at Troy, AL.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Production Program Manager you will be responsible for driving program success across production and development.
ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead yield improvement activities and drive timely engineering releases.
- Coordinate software/firmware production line integration plans.
- Ensure program personnel are physically present in Troy as required and staff off‑shift/weekend operations.
- Manage test equipment maturation and integrate updates into the production schedule.
- Collaborate with supply chain to mitigate shortages and avoid production stoppages.

LocationThis position is in Orlando.
Security and Eligibility- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
- Must be willing to travel 25-50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Candidate must possess an Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance with investigation within the last 5 years.
- Program Management experience in aerospace/defense, preferably on high complexity weapon or avionics systems OR program production operations experience managing missile or missile subsystems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and to remove production barriers in a complex, regulated environment.
- Proven ability to work multiple, high‑priority tasks in parallel with minimal direction.
- Program Management experience specifically responsible for the production of complex aerospace/defense systems.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a concurrent production and development environment.
- Experience with the production of missile systems and/or sub-systems.
Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
Work SchedulesLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
