SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Material Coordinator 3, your responsibilities will include general warehousing, shipping, receiving, stock put-away, work order and sales order fulfillment, as well as daily cleanup and organization. These tasks will support various departments across the organization, and your role will not be limited to any one specific area.
WhatYou Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
- Shop Order Pulling:
- Accurately pull daily shop orders for internal customers by assembling production kits.
- Stage kits on the production floor in accordance with the assembly schedule.
- 641 Kit management, DO, TT creation / execution.
- Shipping and Receiving:
- Assist in efficiently pulling customer orders to ensure timely shipping and delivery.
- The stocking of inbound received parts.
- Package completed assemblies for shipment.
- Receive parts into inventory, process RMA's and customer repairs, issue shortages, create and execute transport tasks / distribution orders.
- Coordinate shipments, including UPS / Fed Ex / DHL / LTL Freight - inbound & outbound.
- Cycle Counting:
- Conduct weekly inventory counts to maintain accurate records to ensure consistency and precision.
- Conduct cycle count investigation.
- Material Coordinator:
- Responsible for training employees in various warehouse, shipping and receiving tasks.
- Analyze/execute Production Schedule activities and perform all warehouse shipping and receiving functions.
Required Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- 5 year of warehouse experience or equivalent experience
Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- ERP System experience, IFS preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft suite applications
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized
Education & Certifications
- Forklift certification preferred but not required.
- International shipping experience and/or certifications.
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday to Friday
- The employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
