* As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for developing and executing manufacturing processes that enable efficient, high‑quality production while partnering closely with cross‑functional stakeholders

* Basic Qualifications:
*
* Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline
Experience working in a Manufacturing shop floor environment, Machine shop, Electrical shop or assembly line
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; an Interim Secret clearance is required prior to start
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, including to non technical personnel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills:

* Experience with the design and manufacturing of complex electromechanical systems
Experience with mechanical assembly, manufacturing tooling design, factory design, and factory flow
Related professional level career experience in production operations
Experience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling
** Security Clearance Statement:
** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration

** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits
** Schedule for this Position:
** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
