Associate - Inventory - C Shift

Job Title

Associate - Inventory I - C Shift (C-shift, F-M, 12 HRS 6AM-6:30 PM)

• Receive shipments and unload deliveries from carriers.
• Inspect shipments and visually examine packages to determine acceptability according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform quality control checks by reviewing requirements for each part number and processing accordingly to SOPs.
• Document receipts by uploading, storing, and closing out a receipt or work order using the inventory management tools and standard procedures.
• Data entry: navigate inventory management modules, input data from physical deliveries, and read information needed for fulfillment tasks.
• Packaging: identify appropriate packaging for parts and properly wrap/store parts within the fulfillment/manufacturing workflow.
• Sorting and staging: move and secure packages/boxes/crates to prevent loss within the workflow.
• Labeling and marking: ensure all parts are properly labeled with identifiers per SOPs to enable traceability through the workflow.
• Storage assignment and auditing: store parts according to SOPs, and perform audits as required.
• Operate equipment to move heavy parts/material as needed, and apply fundamental knowledge of equipment operation, safety procedures, and maintenance practices.
• Support continuous improvement by evaluating, monitoring, and escalating roadblocks that could cause defects downstream; assist in root cause analysis with problem-solving details.

• 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including roles with receiving and inventory functions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality; ability to work in a highly technical environment.
• Proficient communication skills; mathematical skills including calculation of percentages, area, volume, and unit of measure conversions.
• Ability to derive inventory requirements from drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive culture.

• A degree in Supply Chain Management or APICS or Lean Six Sigma certificate is desirable.
• Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory experience in the aerospace industry is desirable.
