Overview

Oshkosh Aero Tech is a leading provider of aviation ground support products, gate equipment, and airport services to commercial airlines, airports, air freight carriers, ground handling, and military customers.

• Complete assigned paint requirements according to Oshkosh Aero Tech specifications.
• Complete Lean initiatives, including 5S activities.
• Troubleshoot problems, identify and communicate discrepancies.
• Complete required paint documentation, including VOC log and check sheets.
• Move painted parts to the next process, verifying they meet Oshkosh Aero Tech specifications.
• Recommend improvements to paint procedures.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner and keep all employees aware of dangers in the work area.
• Practice good housekeeping in the work area.
• Follow Safety, Health, Environment, and Hazardous Waste rules and responsibilities.

• High school diploma or GED, with five or more years auto paint and body experience.
• Experience with prep, grit blast, and final paint of heavy machinery.
• Automotive experience is a plus.
• Experience with Epoxy Primer and Urethane Top Coating processes is a plus.
• Experience with industrial painting is a plus.
• Must be flexible and willing to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
