Description
You will be the Transition to Production Program Manager for the Production Program Management team. Our team is responsible for the successful execution of configuration changes and cut‑ins into production of an Air Dominance weapon system.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Transition to Production Program Manager you will lead cross‑functional teams to plan, validate, and execute configuration cut‑in activities across multiple sites and suppliers, ensuring continuous production support without stoppages.
Responsibilities- Validate engineering concepts and cut‑in feasibility.
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules.
- Execute production non‑recurring tasks and cut‑in activities.
- Maintain ERP system accuracy for resources and orders.
- Mitigate risks and determine optimal cut‑in points.
The ideal candidate is extremely organized, detail‑oriented, and possesses deep knowledge of MFC processes for implementing changes on active production lines.
LocationThis position is in Orlando.
Citizenship & ClearanceMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications- Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance with investigation within the last 5 years
- Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional teams
- Experience in production
- Experience in risk identification and management
- Demonstrated performance working with production teams
- Strong problem solving skills
- Quick learner
- Proven ability to work multiple, high‑priority tasks in parallel with minimal direction
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written), demonstrated executive presence
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to see and support the big picture while managing small picture details
- Experience leading and developing talent
- Experience leading engineering change board, production status reviews, and corrective action board
- Experience with missile systems and sub‑systems
- Experience with SAP
- Direct production floor experience in a role that successfully implemented changes
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance level:
Secret with investigation or CV date within 5 years.
