Description

As a cable assembler, you will play a key role in delivering the high‑quality parts our customers depend on by assembling finished products using sub‑assemblies, parts, and fasteners.

Job Functions
  • Perform bench‑type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub‑assemblies, using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic tooling.
  • Set and assemble small, large hand tools, pneumatic and hydraulic tools.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with direct supervision.
  • On‑site attendance is required.
  • Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
  • Must be able to concentrate and sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Assembly or Manufacturing environment required.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasional bending, reaching, and repetitive hand motion.
  • Fine motor skills and close visual attention required.
Working Conditions
  • On‑site attendance required;
    First shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
  • Manufacturing environment; exposure to coolants, oils, metal chips, dust, and moderate to high noise.
  • PPE required: safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas.
  • Shop temperature is climate controlled.
