Associate - Inventory - Shift

Associate
- Inventory I - 1st shift

Duties: A Shift Monday
- Friday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

• Continuous improvement: evaluate, monitor, and escape a roadblock identified while working in a role that can cause a defect downstream; support a root cause analysis and provide details with problem‑solving skills.
• Use of equipment: operate heavy equipment safely and maintain fundamental knowledge of operational mechanics, safety procedures, and maintenance practices to move heavy parts/material within the facilities.
• Receive shipments: unload shipments delivered by carriers.
• Inspect shipments: visually examine packages upon arrival at the Fulfillment Center and determine acceptability according to standard operating procedures.
• Quality control checks: review requirements for each part number and process accordingly to the standard operating procedure.
• Documenting receipts: upload, store, and close out a receipt or work order using tools and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Data entry: navigate and select fields within an inventory management tool to input data directly from physical deliveries; read information as needed for specific fulfillment tasks.
• Packaging: identify appropriate packaging for parts and properly wrap/store them at any stage of the fulfillment/ manufacturing workflow.
• Sorting and staging: move packages, boxes, crates, or other storage containers while ensuring secure identification to prevent loss within the workflow.
• Labeling and marking: ensure all parts are labeled with identifiers outlined in the standard operating procedure to analyze parts through the workflow.
• Storage assignment/auditing: store and use good judgment along with standard operating procedures for individual or bulk part storage; audit per a standard operating procedure.

• 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including an industry with receiving and inventory functions.
• Safety is a top priority; strictly adhere to established safety protocols and guidelines, wear appropriate PPE, follow safe operating procedures, and participate in regular safety training sessions.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• World‑class quality attitude, attention to detail, and dedication.
• Communication skills within a highly technical environment.
• Mathematical skills including calculation of percentages, area, volume, and unit of measure conversions.
• Analytical skills to define problems, collect appropriate and relevant data, establish facts, and draw reasonable conclusions from gathered information.
• Ability to derive inventory requirements from drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
