Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Plans and coordinates production schedules with ERP system. Ensures customer orders and planned properly to drive raw materials as required and that the production plan is executed as required. Review expedites and customer changes as well as weekly portals to ensure that changes fit within standard plan.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Work toward exceeding all timelines and delivery goals for both internal and external customers. Firms and/or create production orders for assigned work centers Uses critical thinking to ensure plans are attainable Work on material shortages and communicate with the necessary teams Follow logic of resource capabilities to assign jobs to work centers as needed Communicates issues with other departments as required Performs ERP transactions as needed to move parts to stock, completion of production orders and other required transactions.
Supports the Master Planner by performing assigned planning and coordination duties to maintain operations efficiency. Provides back-up support to the Shipping & Receiving Department as needed to ensure uninterrupted department operational. Drives continuous improvement methodology for planning functions Reports on defined KPIs Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to 5S and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) policies. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) Understanding of ERP/MRP Systems;
Microsoft Dynamic preferred Good writing and verbal communication skills. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Strong organizational and attention to detail skills. Ability to work cohesively within a team environment while coordinating and collaborating with personnel from other departments. Proven ability to manage substantial administrative responsibility in a fast-paced work environment. Knowledge of electronics specification and BOM experience is helpful.
Must be able to work with ITAR data without a license. Education, Experience and Training:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, manufacturing, or related field preferred or 2-year technical degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning, materials planning, or related administrative/ERP support roles. Physical Requirements & Working Environment:
This role is performed on-site and primary an in-office role. Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Occasionally standing, walking, or moving within the office or production/shipping department areas. May be required to adjust work schedule to support operational needs. Must adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean and organized workspace
