Cabinet Technician

Overview

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for a Cabinet Technician I position in Orlando, FL. This is a contract to direct hire role, expected to transition within 4 months to a permanent position. The role requires on‑site work Monday–Thursday from 5:00AM to 3:30PM.

The Cabinet Technician will install vinyl flooring, wall coverings, cabinetry, and trim within specialty vehicles in a high‑paced manufacturing environment. The role requires interpreting and following vehicle layout drawings and collaborating effectively with cabinet builders for custom installations.

• Use necessary tools and hardware to measure, mark, and cut materials such as aluminum and wood.
• Operate power tools: saws, table saws, drills, screw guns, sanders, routers, and nail guns.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment by adhering to all organization standards and policies while producing the highest quality work.

• HS degree minimum.
• Ability to grip and operate hand tools with a minimum of 50in/lbs. of force.
• Ability to grip fine contacts and wires with one hand and operate a crimping tool with the other.
• Ability to see fine components and have manual dexterity to place and solder them properly.
• Ability to lift and carry 30lbs. for at least 15feet.

• 3–7years in cabinet building, fabrication, automotive manufacturing, or tooling.
• Experience with Automated Beam Saw.
• Experience with Weeke Machine (preferred but not required).
• Automated Beam Saw experience.
