Maintenance Mechanic

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production lines. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and technical aptitude, previous experience in a high-speed industrial environment, and the ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

** Pay Range:**  $20.00 - $24.00/hr (DOE)

* Schedule:

** 2nd shift working 6:00 pm - 6:30 am (must be available on weekends)

** What's the Job?*
* + Provide immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines.

+ Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform immediate repairs on industrial machinery.

+ Overhaul and install new mechanical equipment and systems.

+ Rebuild, fabricate, and weld mechanical parts and components.

+ Perform routine facility maintenance and ensure a clean, safe working environment.

+ Assist with change-overs and continuous improvement of production processes.

** Troubleshoot and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).*
* ** What's Needed?*
* + At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.

+ Proven experience working in a high-speed, industrial environment.

+ Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with hands-on experience in machinery repair and maintenance.

+ Basic computer skills for reporting and tracking maintenance tasks.

+ Ability to read and interpret manufacturers' specifications and mechanical schematics.
