We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace. The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.
Responsibilities- Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
- Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
- Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, pulls & cleans pallets, and related janitorial tasks in warehouse. Also to perform production sanitation as needed to include but are not limited to cleaning, sanitizing surfaces & sanitizing processing equipment in production, such as machinery, tables, sheet pans, racks, scoops, etc.,
- Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
- Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
- May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
- Adhere to all company SOPs, GMPs, USDA or FDA, SQF procedures, etc. and work consistently with all food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.
- Ensure accurate record keeping/documents of performed sanitation duties according to company and regulatory requirements, and able to meet minimum production sanitation requirements efficiently & accurately.
- Communicate with Quality Control Supervisor regarding any out of compliance/questionable sanitation conditions.
- Perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required or directed by management.
- Able to work in a mostly refrigerated environment but must also be able to work in varying temperatures per department between –10 °F to 80 °F +.
- Completes all assignments timely and accurately.
- May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Schedule:
Mondays thru Fridays 7:00 am to finish (approx. 3:30 pm), every other Saturday 8:00 am to finish (approx. 1:00 pm)

QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 1-3 years months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in warehouse
- 1 - 3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably food handling or processing or sanitation
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- 1+ years general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in warehouse environment
- Pallet jack experience
- 1-2 years in Food Processing Facility
- 1-2 years in Food Handling
- 2-4 years in Sanitation
- 1-2 years experience in USDA Facility
- Familiarity with SQF facility
