About this Role
You will be the Multifunction Manufacturing Planner Manager for the Missiles and Fire Control - Machine Operations Center (MOC) team. Our team is responsible for supporting product flow for multiple programs through the development and production manufacturing processes.
What You Will Be Doing- Leading a team of leaders, Make Hardware Representatives, and Material Processors while collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, and quality counterparts to drive program success.
- Coordinating daily activities to identify and respond to changing priorities and needs.
- Developing and growing your team through best practices, training, and improvement initiatives.
- Attending program and manufacturing management meetings to drive progress and resolve issues.
- Assigning personnel to support internal operation plans and critical schedule milestones.
- Managing budgets, leveraging computer systems, databases, and programs to drive efficiency.
We seek a collaborative and strategic leader who can drive team success and program growth. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to work with multiple levels of management and external customers. They should be a certified Green Belt (or have equivalent knowledge) and have experience with material handling, control systems, and ERP systems (SAP).

Basic Qualifications- Completed bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Understanding of budget management.
- Ability to develop and hold accountability for direct reports.
- Proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs.
- Related experience in material handling, control systems, and SAP (ERP).
- Ability to assign projects to organizational units and lead staff to meet critical schedules.
- Green Belt certified or demonstrated knowledge and application of Green Belt principles.
- Experience leading in a manufacturing and union environment.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS).
- Make Planning experience.
- Program Planning experience.
- SAP Materials and Inventory Control subject matter expert.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists.
- Apriso experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry peers, internal and external customers.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills.
