Compensation: $27.00/hr - $29.00/hr
Benefits: Upon permanent hire, employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, two weeks of vacation, and one week of sick leave. Vacation and PTO benefits increase based on tenure with the company.
We’re looking for a Buyer/Planner for a client in East Orlando who specializes in technology manufacturing. This role offers a full cycle of buying, procuring, purchasing, and planning with immediate availability to start.
Responsibilities- Coordinate production schedules and customer delivery timelines based on inventory, material availability, and production capacity.
- Support planning activities across multiple manufacturing operations and product lines.
- Review production requirements and capacity needs to help ensure efficient workflow and on‑time delivery.
- Maintain and manage production and purchasing records to support operational demands.
- Assist with procurement activities for materials, tooling, and other operational needs.
- Monitor open orders and vendor activity to ensure timelines, quantities, and specifications remain on track.
- Respond to internal requests related to lead times, scheduling, and material availability.
- Partner with quality and operations teams to address returned materials and production-related issues.
- Work closely with supervisors and cross‑functional teams to track project status, staffing needs, and production throughput.
- Communicate schedule changes, delays, and operational concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
- Adjust schedules and priorities as needed to meet changing business demands.
- Prepare reports and provide administrative support for planning and purchasing activities.
- 2+ years of experience in production planning, purchasing, supply chain, or a related manufacturing support role.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments and multiple locations.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and standard business software preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible to comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
