CNC Machining Engineer - Early Career

Description

This role focuses on creating work instructions, designing tools and fixtures, supporting manufacturing floor activities, performing root cause analysis, and investigating technology to reduce costs and improve quality.

• Create work instructions detailing the appropriate equipment, methods, special processes, tools and fixturing required to manufacture our complex components.
• Design special tools and fixtures required to support manufacturing.
• Provide manufacturing floor support to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action to address quality related issues.
• Investigate, propose, and implement technology to reduce costs and/or improve quality.
• Utilize CAM software for CNC programming.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of CAD software such as Siemens NX, CREO, Pro Engineer, or Solidworks.
• Experience and/or interest with CNC machines, mills, or lathes through internships or university work.

• Experience with production manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma.
• G-code;
  Windchill.
• Root Cause Analysis.
• Interest in metal machining, tooling, and the processes used to manufacture machined precision components.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week (Onsite Full‑time).

Experience Level: 4 yr and up College.
