Systems Engineer Associate Manager - MBSE

This Systems Engineer Associate Manager role is responsible for leading a Ground Systems Systems Engineering team that focuses on Maintenance Systems products, based in Orlando, FL. The selected candidate is expected to understand Systems Engineering concepts, Model Based Systems Engineering, and provide technical direction to Systems Engineers in support of program execution priorities.

• Workforce planning, development, and retention
• Personnel performance, compensation, and promotion planning
• Oversight of cost, technical, and schedule across contracts
• Input and oversight for new business capture contract proposals
• Understanding team performance and motivating quality improvement across contracted efforts
• Interfacing with external Lockheed teams to meet commitments
• Managing 25% Program Overhead tasks and 75% direct on-program tasks
• Reporting to the Maintenance Systems Systems Engineer Manager (L5) in Orlando, FL

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline
• Experience as a team lead
• Experience with agile development

• Bachelor’s of Science or Master’s of Science in Systems Engineering
• Experience with Earned Value Management
• Experience managing complex technical systems and programs
• Experience with software architectures
• Experience with hardware architectures
