the work the selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • analyzing and interpreting electrical, electromechanical, and cable schematics during development and production stages
  • updating and creating assembly work instructions for efficient assembly based on the drawings and/or models
  • publishing work instructions to the production floor for use
  • identifying and maintaining tool lists required for the efficient assembly of the given products.
  • investigating technical problems and providing guidance to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance
  • collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing failures and helping to implement corrective actions
  • supporting the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the manufacturing process
  • providing input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques
  • working in close collaboration and guidance of subject matter experts in the implementation of manufacturing functional improvements
  • adhering to existing functional process and procedures related to manufacturing engineering
