Aboutthe Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented CNC Operator to produce precision-cut components for custom trade show exhibits and branded environments. Working closely with our fabrication team, you'll operate and maintain CNC machinery, ensuring parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and to Color Craft's high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities- Set up, program (as needed), and operate CNC routers to manufacture custom exhibit components
- Review production drawings and work orders to ensure accurate machining and material selection
- Load, unload, and handle sheet goods safely and efficiently
- Perform machine setup, tool changes, calibration, and routine maintenance
- Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and overall quality
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and fabrication teams to meet project schedules and production deadlines
- Troubleshoot machine or programming issues and recommend process improvements
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- 4+ years of CNC operating experience, preferably in woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, sign fabrication, or custom manufacturing
- Experience operating CNC routers and working with wood, composites, plastics, or aluminum
- Ability to read shop drawings, blueprints, and production documents
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs from shop drawings, cut lists, and customer specifications.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD software is a plus
- knowledge in CAD/CAM software (EnRoute is a plus)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a production team
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment
