Production Manager

Compensation: $100,000 range, depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead operations in a polymer extrusion manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing production performance, driving efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting a safe, high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily extrusion production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery goals.
• Lead and develop production supervisors, operators, and support staff.
• Monitor KPIs including throughput, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
• Drive training, accountability, and standard work across the production floor.
• Support process optimization for polymer extrusion equipment, tooling, and line performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in plastics, polymer, or extrusion environments.
• Strong understanding of extrusion processes, production scheduling, and plant operations.
• Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Solid problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process optimization preferred.
• Ability to analyze production data and make sound operational decisions.
