Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Terminal Associate to support safe, efficient handling of cement and aggregates at our manufacturing terminal. In this role, you operate loading and unloading equipment, perform inspections, and monitor material flow and inventory. You will follow strict safety and environmental procedures while maintaining a clean, organized site. The position includes basic equipment maintenance, accurate documentation of loads and inspections, and close communication with drivers and plant teams.
You'll work in a hands-on, performance-driven environment with opportunities to develop technical skills and advance your career.
Responsibilities
- Operate terminal and loading/unloading equipment for cement and aggregates
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
- Monitor material flow, quality, and inventory levels
- Follow strict safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards
- Complete basic maintenance and report equipment issues
- Accurately document loads, inspections, and shift activities
- Communicate with drivers, dispatch, and plant personnel
- Support continuous improvement and lean operational practices
