Receiving Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving Deliveries
• Receive and Count Shipments – Accurately count all incoming garments and compare counts to purchase orders and packing slips.
• Data Entry – Log all counts and receive information into Salesforce in a timely and accurate manner.
• Quality Control – Inspect garments for correct color, style, size, and overall quality before accepting for production.
• Issue Identification – Flag and report any discrepancies, damages, or incorrect items immediately to the Production Manager. Proactively look at the future schedule and communicate any delays or discrepancies that could affect the production timeline.
• Staging for Production – Organize and stage received goods at the designated machines for the next day’s production before the end of each shift.
• Maintain Organization – Keep receiving and staging areas clean, safe, and organized to support efficient workflow.
• Collaboration – Work closely with production, purchasing, vendors, and customer service teams to ensure timely communication and problem resolution.
• Cross-training – This role must be appropriately cross-trained in the Shipping Specialist role.

This position requires standing, walking, and moving garments throughout the facility. The environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, with a focus on meeting daily production deadlines.
