Production Supervisor

Position Summary

Micro Vision a leader in advanced perception solutions for industrial, security and defense, and automotive applications, is seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of Micro Vision's Operations team, you will collaborate with various technical teams across the company to bring market-defining LiDAR products into production. The Production Supervisor leads daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of LiDAR hardware and related products.

This role supervises production personnel, drives continuous improvement initiatives and ensures operational, quality, and production goals are achieved.

The Production Supervisor leads daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of LiDAR hardware and related products.

This role supervises production personnel, drives continuous improvement initiatives and ensures operational, quality, and production goals are achieved.

• Supervise daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Lead, coach, train, and evaluate production employees.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time completion of manufacturing orders.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Mfg. Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve operational issues.
• Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track and report production KPIs and support corrective actions.
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing scale-up activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and workplace safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP/MES systems and Microsoft Office.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

This position is based onsite at Micro Vision's Orlando, Florida facility and requires regular in-person attendance five days per week. Work schedules are determined by management based on business and operational needs. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Orlando facility.
