Market Insights & Media Specialist

Supports the execution, coordination, and ongoing optimization of marketing and media activity across multiple markets while translating market observations, competitive intelligence, and performance data into actionable insights that improve local relevance and marketing performance.

This position plays an important role in helping the team manage partner relationships, agency coordination, campaign readiness, and market-level learning.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Marketing Manager in planning, coordinating, and managing media and marketing tactics across assigned markets.
  • Serve as a day‑to‑day point of coordination with media partners, agencies, and external vendors to track deliverables, timelines, open items, and campaign readiness.
  • Monitor campaign, vendor, and partner performance and organize key observations, pacing updates, and optimization opportunities for team review.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly Market Insights Brief for assigned markets, incorporating competitor activity, vendor performance notes, local market dynamics, and localized recommendations.
  • Assist in evaluating market‑level trends, competitor activity, and local factors that may influence media mix, messaging, timing, or creative approach.
  • Coordinate inputs across internal teams and external partners to ensure marketing activity is aligned with business priorities and market needs.
  • Help document testing, learning, and performance insights to support better decision‑making and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain organized records of market plans, media activity, vendor notes, and recurring recommendations.
  • Provide organizational and administrative support to the Marketing Manager and, as needed, the VP of Marketing, including meeting preparation, follow‑up, document organization, and coordination of key deliverables.
  • Contribute to a more localized and effective marketing approach by identifying subtle but meaningful differences across markets, audiences, competitors, and vendor dynamics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of marketing, media, account management, and campaign coordination experience.
  • Prior experience in multi‑market, agency, in‑house marketing, or performance‑driven environments.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines, vendors, markets, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfort working across traditional, digital, and cross‑channel marketing activity.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to turn information into clear observations and practical recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet, reporting, and presentation tools; experience with campaign reporting or media dashboards is a plus.
