Roots Farm Campus this Summer as an
Events Intern and gain hands‑on experience in nonprofit event planning and production.

• Support event setup, breakdown, and logistics
• Assist with volunteer coordination and guest experience
• Help manage RSVPs, vendor communication, and event supplies
• Capture event content and contribute creative ideas

• Current college student studying Event Management, Hospitality, Business, Nonprofit, or related field
• Friendly, detail-oriented, and team-minded
• Willing to work occasional evenings/weekends
• Passionate about purpose-driven events and community impact

• Work primarily on the 4
  
  Roots Farm Campus in both indoor and outdoor event settings
• Frequent walking throughout the campus during events and event preparation
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Exposure to varying weather conditions during outdoor events
• Internship runs throughout the Fall and Spring semesters (August 2026 – May 2027)
• 18+ hours per week
• Flexible schedule based on class availability
• Some evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays are required to support events
• Hands‑on experience planning, coordinating, and executing community events
• Mentorship from experienced events and nonprofit professionals
• Exposure to event logistics, guest experience, vendor coordination, and community engagement
• Opportunities to collaborate across multiple departments and build a professional network
• Meaningful experience supporting the mission of the 4
