Nurse Practitioner, ARNP or Physician Assistant, PA-C
We are rapidly growing our primary care practices throughout the East Florida region. Offices are located in Deltona, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach, Daytona, Ormond Beach, and Palm Coast Florida!
Responsibilities- Performs physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses for pediatric through geriatric patients, including women's health
- Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.
- Independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions
- Monitors the patient's course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed
- Collaborates with physician supervisor and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff
- Displays a caring and professional attitude at all times as well as maintaining personal and professional growth
- Enthusiastic team player
- Strong medical decision-making and communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Flexible, adaptable to change
- Must demonstrate excellence in patient focused medical care & delivery of care
- Master's degree in nursing (FNP/APRN) or Physician Assistant studies
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical practice experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred
- Experience treating patients of all ages and a variety of acute & chronic conditions is highly preferred
- Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license
- Current, valid DEA license
- ANCC, AANP or NCCPA (or equivalent) certification
- Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Sign on bonus and relocation!
- 4- or 5-day schedule, depending on practice location
- Minimal call
