The Center for Digestive Endoscopy’s dedicated staff has helped thousands in the Orlando community since opening its doors in 2002. The outpatient, state-of-the-art endoscopic facility specializes in colon cancer screening and diseases involving the digestive tract. Orlando Business Journal recently ranked us the first largest freestanding ambulatory surgery center in Central Florida.
We are currently searching for a Fulltime Registered Nurse to work in the Procedure Rooms - Intraop - Four 10 hour shifts Monday - Friday with a start time of 6:00am. This nurse needs to be able to work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.
Major responsibilities include:
- Assist the physician during endoscopic procedures.
- Prepare patients for their procedures - preop.
- Provide care for patients in recovery.
- Actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, Current BLS and ACLS, and prefer - at least two years of registered nurse experience.
