Schedule:
Full-time | Flexible hours based on study needs (typically M–F, between 7:00–8:00 AM start, 8‑hour shifts). Occasional weekend work may occur but is rare.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiovascular Research Nurse to join our research team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care while supporting clinical research protocols—primarily Phase 3 trials—with a current trial load of approximately 8–10 studies.
This role requires strong clinical assessment abilities, adherence to regulatory standards, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced clinical research environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe, compassionate care that upholds the dignity and respect of all research participants.
- Maintain clinical competencies including:
- Physical assessments
- Phlebotomy
- IV insertion
- Perform clinical tasks within the nursing scope of practice to support physicians, ARNPs, and Clinical Research Nurses during minor procedures and study‑related requirements.
- Administer investigational medications (currently all oral agents) in alignment with Advent Health policies and clinical research standards.
- Apply Universal Precautions and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Work efficiently and independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic clinical and research setting.
- Support the execution of Phase 3 cardiovascular clinical trials; role involves active, hands‑on study involvement.
- Ensure accurate documentation and follow all Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Candidates with 5+ years of RN experience in any of the following areas will be considered, even without prior research experience:
- Cardiovascular
- Critical Care
- Transplant
Previous clinical research experience is a strong plus but not required for candidates with robust specialty backgrounds.
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Active Florida RN license
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) AND Basic Life Support (BLS)

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $83,200.00 - $/yr.
