Job DescriptionGlobal Neuro & Spine Institute is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or Physician Assistant) to join a multidisciplinary interventional pain management practice in Orlando, Florida.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with supervising physicians to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
The APP will support advanced therapies including nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulation, epidural injections, and other minimally invasive procedures aimed at restoring function and improving quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations including medical history, physical exam, and pain assessment
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions, including spine-related and neuropathic disorders
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assist with or perform interventional pain procedures and therapeutic injections as appropriate
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians on complex or high‑risk cases
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care
- Triage patient concerns and manage urgent clinical issues
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Ensure continuity of care through coordination with clinical staff
- Respond to medical emergencies as needed, including BLS/CPR
- Focus on interventional and minimally invasive spine treatments

- Understanding of the medical model and roles of physicians and advanced practice providers
- Knowledge of anatomy, pharmacology, pathophysiology, and clinical medicine
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques and care plan development
- Understanding of medical documentation standards and confidentiality
- Ability to gather and analyze physiological, socioeconomic, and emotional patient data
- Ability to evaluate patient conditions and provide appropriate intervention or referral
- Skill in developing and revising patient care plans based on clinical findings
- Ability to make responsible clinical decisions within scope of practice
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians on complex cases
- Ability to educate patients and families clearly and effectively
- Manual dexterity and coordination required for clinical procedures
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active and unrestricted Florida APRN or PA license
- Board certification as applicable
- Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
