Director of Nursing (DON)

As the Director of Nursing, you will direct and develop our Nursing Department, maintaining quality standards of care in accordance with Federal, State, and company regulations. You will act as a liaison between residents and staff, ensuring a safe, cheerful, and healthy environment. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibilities, requiring strong problem‑solving, delegation, and timely communication skills.

• Direct and develop the Nursing Department.
• Maintain quality care standards and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with residents, families, and staff to ensure a safe, cheerful, and healthy environment.
• Assume responsibilities in the absence of the Administrator.
• Problem solve, delegate tasks, and communicate in a timely, effective manner.

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Must have and maintain CPR Certification.
• Five years in long‑term or acute health care preferred.
• At least two years of nursing supervisory experience required.
• Previous Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience is a plus.

Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening required.
