Job Overview

Advent Health Medical Group Cardiology in Central Florida is seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care across Greater Orlando campuses.

• Perform physical examinations and monitor cardiology & interventional cardiology patients in hospital and clinic settings, including new patient visits, pre‑ and post‑procedure care, follow‑ups, and patient education.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory studies and X‑rays.
• Monitor patient treatment courses and refer to physicians or specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to provide consistent care and support to patients and the team.
• Maintain a caring and professional attitude at all times while pursuing personal and professional growth.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, patients, and the public.
• Provide care for a mix of new and follow‑up patients, including those with CHF, chest pain, uncontrolled hypertension, palpitations, cardiogenic syncope, valve disease, cardiomyopathy, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and ventricular arrhythmias.

• Weekends/Weekdays as needed.
• Primarily inpatient responsibilities.
• Campuses covered:
  Greater Orlando area; coverage may align with candidate's home location and preferred travel radius.

• Master's degree in Nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Studies.
• 2‑4 years of experience as a provider in cardiology.

• Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license.
• Certification through the ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, or equivalent certification body.
• Current BLS required.
