Advent Health Medical Group Cardiology in Central Florida PRN – APRN or PA-C

Inpatient opportunity - PRN. Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) serving Advent Health campuses in Greater Orlando.

• Perform physical examinations and monitor cardiology and interventional cardiology patients in hospital and clinic settings: new patient visits, pre‑ and post‑procedure care, follow‑up, patient education.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as routine laboratory, X‑ray, etc.
• Monitor the patient’s treatment course and make appropriate referrals to physicians or specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to provide consistent care and support to staff.
• Display a caring and professional attitude at all times and maintain personal and professional growth.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public.
• Provide care for new patients, mostly follow‑ups.
• Manage patients with CHF, chest pain, uncontrolled hypertension, palpitations, cardiogenic syncope, valve disease, cardiomyopathy, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, ventricular arrhythmias, etc.

• Weekends/Weekdays as needed
• Primarily inpatient responsibilities
• Campus coverage in Greater Orlando; alignment with candidate’s home location and preferred travel radius.

• Master’s degree in Nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA‑C) studies
• 2–4 years of experience as a provider in cardiology

• Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license
• Certification through ANCC, AANP or NCCPA (or equivalent)
• Current BLS required
