RN - Registered Nurse (Operating Room – Onsite Contract)

Contract starts July 13, 2026; 13‑week assignment.

Day shift: 12 hours/day, 3 days per week.

Location:

Margate, FL (13 weeks).

Shift: Days 7:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M.

Must have:

• ACLS and BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years current experience in an acute OR setting
• Orthopedic, spinal, and joint‑replacement experience
• Knee and hip replacement experience

• Unit: OR RN (701)
• Facility: HCA Florida Northwest Hospital, 2801 North State Road 7, Margate, FL 33063
• Floor: 1st floor, Building:
  Main
• Number of Beds: 7
• Staff:
  Varies by volume; clinical coordinator for all specialty service lines
• Staffing Model: 1 tech + 1 RN or 2 RNs per room, 1:1 patient ratio
• Equipment:
  Robotics, spine, vascular
• Documentation System:
  Meditech
• On‑call: 1–2 shifts per week and 1 weekend shift per 4‑week period; rotating weekends possible

RN is responsible for the observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all patients. Proficient charting, multi‑tasking, critical thinking, and a bedside manner are essential.

• ACLS and BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years current experience in an acute OR setting
• Orthopedic, spinal, and joint‑replacement experience
• Knee and hip replacement experience
• Preferred: PALS, CNOR, any charge experience

• Previous travel experience preferred
• Adaptable to fast‑paced unit
• Ability to function independently
