-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, and includes licensed beds. We are currently seeking qualified professionals with active/clear license in the state of Florida. Previous experience in a psychiatric facility or rehabilitation program is required.

is a full-time, professional nurse position, providing discipline-focused orientation for nursing staff.

• Identify and assess the education needs of clinical staff to ensure that they are competent to provide direct patient care
• Provide leadership to the nursing staff in the nursing care delivery system in accordance with the hospital’s philosophy and established nursing standards of practice of care and policies and procedures
• Provide infection control orientation for hospital staff
• Provide leadership and consultation to staff to monitor infection control procedures in accordance with hospital’s policies
• Identify the occurrence of outbreaks or clusters of infectious diseases

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of Florida
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-yrs+.
• Work hours:
  
  -hour shifts; day or night shift available; rotating weekends

• Proficiency in medical terminology for medical documentation is preferred.
• Experience with behavioral health patient is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care principles for adult psychiatric patients is beneficial.
• Experience working with children in a psychiatric setting is highly desirable.
• Competence in taking vital signs accurately.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills.
