Title:

Registered Nurse, Acute Care | M/S B6 Orlando Health

• Assess patient’s needs and develop/revise an individualized plan of care based on patient needs and responses.
• Evaluate the patient’s progress toward attaining expected outcomes.
• Respect diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members and customers.
• Act as a patient and family advocate.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• Serve as a preceptor, charge nurse, unit educator, and/or nurse clinician.
• Communicate and collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to effectively plan and manage the unit/department.
• Serve as a role model for staff and support the hospital and nursing department’s goals and strategies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, assess patient data, and interpret necessary information to identify each patient’s requirements relative to age‑specific needs.

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing; meet all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and the unit/department.
• Maintain a current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• Maintain a current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC certifications required for certain areas; NRP required for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
